Crawfish Boil and Open House April 17

On Wednesday, April 17, GNOFHAC staff and board will host a crawfish boil and open house for community members. The theme of the open house will be “Knowledge is Power.”

GNOFHAC will host community members and local leaders from nonprofit organizations, the legal and academic communities, and grassroots neighborhood groups in order to engage in open communication about the actions that we can take as a community to promote equality in our neighborhoods. Join us for crawfish, refreshments, and an empowering discussion of housing discrimination and local civil rights issues.

This free event is a great opportunity to learn more about the work of the Greater New Orleans Fair Housing Action Center and to find out how you can get involved in the fight against housing discrimination!

The crawfish boil will be held at 404 S. Jeff Davis Pkwy on Wednesday, April 17 from 5:30-7:30pm.  Please RSVP with Marlene Theberge at mtheberge@gnofairhousing.org or 504.708.2109.
