LaFHAC is pleased to welcome our newest team member, Sophie Sanchez, who will be working with us as the Operations Associate.

For the past three years, Sophie worked at Planned Parenthood Gulf Coast in the Public Affairs department, where she specialized in volunteer management. As a Public Health student at Tulane University, she served as the Education and Outreach Coordinator of SAPHE (Sexual Aggression Peer Hotline and Education), a peer-run sexual assault survivor advocacy organization. Sophie is passionate about supporting and engaging with her community, and is excited to continue to pursue that passion at LaFHAC!
